  3. Take 2 large green bellpeppers

Instructions to make Cajun style red beans and rice:
  1. Chop (dice) your bellpeppers and onion and slice sausage and set aside.
  2. In a large saucepan or pot add all ingredients for the red beans and rice (beans and rice, water and oil or butter).
  3. Add sausage, bellpeppers, onion, garlic and Cajun seasoning and cook according to package directions.
  4. Cut the Gouda (or preferred cheese) into small cubes and add about five minutes before cooking is complete, or in the last five minutes that it sits.

It’s easy to fight your bad mood when you eat grains. Teff, barley, millet, quinoa, etc are all great for helping you feel better. They help you feel full as well which can actually help to better your mood. Feeling famished can be awful! These grains can improve your mood since it’s not at all difficult for your body to digest them. These foods are easier to digest than others which helps kick start a rise in your sugar levels which in turn takes your mood to a happier place.
